Auditions begin Nov 6 for Mera Sabse Bada Fan Banega Mera Hero
Film crazy fans all over the globe have done crazy things for their favorite stars. Small or big, young or old ... a common man’s wish is to explore the fabulous life of his favorite superstars.
There are different ways fans show their affection and craze for their idol — collecting autographs, picture postcards, film posters, worshipping their idols to building temples. All of it seems passé now. The new-gen fans are crazier ... They will go to any lengths to fulfill their dream ... of proving to their idol that there can be no bigger fan than them.
Sony Entertainment Television in association with Yash Raj Films gives an opportunity to showcase fans' die-hard dedication and love for their ultimate superstar on Mera Sabse Bada Fan Banega Mera Hero!
For the mega show, there's a nationwide hunt for the biggest fan of the biggest superstars of India in Mera Sabse Bada Fan Banega Mera Hero across 12 cities — Nagpur, Lucknow, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Ludhiana and Chennai, where auditions will be conducted from October 31 to November 8, 2009. During the auditions the fans have to prove why they think they are the biggest fan of the celebrity, how much the fans adore, admire and worship their hero, what is it that makes them go to all lengths to become a die-hard fan ... they have to prove their credentials as the biggest fan.
The top 3 fans of each superstar will be selected and given an extraordinary task and one among them will go on to become the Biggest Fan of the Superstar.
The show which is the first of its kind, where the superstars will recognize their ardent fans, is anchored by producer-director Karan Johar and is Yash Raj Film’s first venture in to television content.
